Chapters

Six chapters, nine circles. They do not line up, and the table says so: a chapter is one scene you can walk from end to end, so places you go back and forth between have to live in the same one.

What is playable today is the first two chapters, start to finish. The rest is drawn here because it is the plan, not because it exists, and there is no date attached to any of it.

Why six and not nine: the poem has nine circles and the game has six chapters, and the site follows the game, because the chapters are what a player actually meets. The circles are still named, as labels inside a chapter, never as separate places. Two overlapping sets of targets would be a lie about how the thing is built.
